Wearable grasping device
The first light and wearable device to perform grasping actions through the synergic work of a robotic finger in opposition to the disabled hand, no matter what the conformation of the hand or the level of residual mobility.
Gripping actions can be performed directly with the disabled hand or involving both the arms, a tool that allows to define a personal gripping strategy to perform daily activities, such as peeling a banana, opening a bottle and pouring its contents, carrying bags and backpacks… and much more!
Certified as a medical device and tested in clinical as well as home environments, its use grants a continuous motor involvement of the disabled limb and triggers new cognitive programming in grasping movements, helping to regain a complete peripersonal space.
